MLB DFS Weather Thursday June 9

Brief Summary (6:00 PM EDT Update):

We are going to be good to go in Chicago

PPD Threat: CHW (10%)

Delay Threat: CHW(25%)

Good Hitting Environment: TEX, COL(off the charts good), NYY, MIN

Poor Hitting Environment: SEA

Forecasting Analysis:

PIT@COL

A slight chance of a few popup showers. If the situation becomes more threatening, I will add some radar/simulated radars but right now I do not think that is necessary. EXTREMELY LOW CHANCE OF PPD/ANY TYPE OF DELAY(S)

WSH@CHW

Current radar:

Simulated radar at 8 PM:

This model is doing a good job of portraying where the rain is currently so I will trust it as it goes forward. It shows the rain there now weakening and heading southeast and leaving just a few spotty showers around the time of scheduled 1st pitch. There is some risk if the radar remains active over the next few hours but right now it does not look too bad. LOW CHANCE OF PPD OR OF ANY TYPE OF DELAY(S)

MIA@MIN

The rain has not materialized around the Twin Cities and the models are not showing any rain in the vicinity of the park tonight. Thus, I am much more optimistic. VERY LOW PPD OR ANY TYPE OF DELAY RISK
