SF at ATL will see tstorms scattered around the region this evening:

A moderate amount of tstorm activity is expected but they should be moving and weakening as we go through the evening. LOW THREAT OF A PPD; LOW TO MODERATE THREAT OF A DELAY



It is always seems rain threatens COL but they are able to play through it and tonight is not an exception as CIN visits the Rockies. Here are the simulated radars for 8 and 9 PM:

Tonight the activity, for a lack of a better word, looks pretty wimpy. I will keep an eye on the region but right now it does not look very threatening. EXTREMELY LOW CHANCE OF A PPD; LOW CHANCE OF A DELAY

Good Hitting Environments:

-WSH at PHL will experience warm temperatures and a light breeze blowing out to left.
-Expect warm temps, high levels of humidity and a light breeze blowing out for SF at ATL. 
-LAD at CHC will see mild temperatures and a light breeze blowing out to right.
-CIN at COL will see a wind blowing out to left as well as extreme low air density.

 

Poor Hitting Environments:

-Temps remain on the cool side for DET at LAA
-NYY at TOR will see rather cool temps and  light breeze blowing in from right IF the roof is open. 
-Unusually dry air and a light breeze blowing in from left for TB at KC.

TEX at CLE 6:10: Wind E 5-10 mph becoming SE which 1st blows from right to left and then out to left. The wind is a 5 becoming a 6. Temps near 80 falling into the mid 70s. Air density is a 7.

BOS at BLT 7:05: Wind SE less than 8 mph which blows from right to left. The wind is a 5. Temps near 80 falling into the low to mid 70s. Air density is a 7.

DET at LAA 7:05: Wind WSW 5-10 mph which blows out to right. The wind is a 6. Temps in the mid 60s. Air density is a 5.

WSH at PHL 7:05: Wind SE 5-10 mph which blows out to left. The wind is a 6. Temps in the mid 70s falling to near 70. Air density is a 7.

NYY at TOR 7:07: The retractable roof will likely be open. Wind ENE 6-12 mph which blows in from right. The wind is a 4. Temps in the mid 60s falling to near 60. Air density is a 5.

SF at ATL 7:10: SEE BRIEF SUMMARY ABOVE. Wind SSE 5-10 mph which blows out to left. The wind is a 6. Temps in the mid 80s falling into the upper 70s. Air density is an 8.

LAD at CHC 8:00: Wind WSW 5-10 mph which blows out to right. The wind is a 6. Temps in the mid to upper 70s falling to near 70. Air density is a 7 becoming a 6.

AZ at HOU 8:10: The retractable roof will likely be closed due to the threat of tstorms.

TB at KC 8:15: Wind N less than 8 mph which blows in from left. The wind is a 4. Temps on the mid 70s falling to near 70. Air density is a 6.

CIN at COL 8:40: SEE BRIEF SUMMARY ABOVE. Wind SE 8-16 mph which blows out to left. The wind is an 8. Temps in the mid 60s falling into the upper 50s. Air density is a 10.
